HEADACHES: ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT

In this workshop, participants will learn a comprehensive assessment and treatment approach for various types of headaches, including the Chinese medicine point of view. They will learn the anatomy, physiology, and etiology of headaches, including their four types, locations, causes, and connections with meridians of the body.

Treatment options taught in this advanced, comprehensive hands-on workshop include various multi-modality techniques to address a variety of soft tissue impairments at all levels, including: skin, fascia, muscle, periosteum, as well as meridians of the body, range of motion, and diet.

Participants will learn a new arsenal of techniques in Segment-Reflex massage, Trigger point therapy, Periosteal massage, Acupressure therapy, Post-Isometric Relaxation, range-of-motion exercises, and lifestyle recommendations.

This workshop will empower you with the ability to assess and successfully treat all types of headaches that your patients present with, within minutes! Using these unique approaches and techniques will enable you to achieve consistent clinical results, gain greater respect within the medical community, and significantly expand your practice.

The workshop is presented by Dr. Yusuf  Mihaylov, AP, LMT - Board Certified Acupuncture Physician, Licensed Massage Therapist, International Speaker, CE Presenter. He’s been in the field of medical massage and Chinese medicine since 1991; studied in Russia, the USA, and China.
