Which Essential Oil is Best for Rosacea?

Rosacea is a chronic condition of the skin of the face. The cause of the outbreak of rosacea is unknown to this day although a genetic predisposition to the condition has been observed. Factors that can contribute to the outbreak is heat, sunlight, spicy food, alcohol, stress, or alcohol among many others.

Rosacea is a problem for up to 10% of the population. Most of the affected patients are Caucasian females between the ages of 30 to 50 years. The symptoms of rosacea are dilated blood vessels of the face, tiny red bumps, cysts, and pink eyes.

There is no known permanent cure, and the signs of the rosacea are triggered every so often. Common triggers of the red rashes on the skin are quick temperature changes, excessive exercise, sunlight, stress, cold, and certain foods and drinks.

Depending on the severity of the blushing, there are different treatment methods available for it. For mild rashes, normal cosmetic skincare products can cover up the redness. The two classical treatments for rosacea are topical and oral antibiotics. Medications that are used for rosacea topically are ivermectin and azelaic acid. Laser therapy is also used as a treatment.

Esthetician treatment using moisturizer and make-up are also used during flare-ups. This esthetician skincare with cosmetics and moisturizer usually continues for a lifetime.

Some home remedies for rosacea are:
