Spice Up Your Massage
Posted on: February 20, 2012
- Find a massage therapist who had a different instructor than you did and ask them if you can swap techniques.
- Surf the internet. The internet has a vast array of different massage techniques. Even sites like YouTube have instructional videos.
- Go to the library. Reading a massage textbook can give you insight on different techniques that you do not regularly incorporate into your work.
- Switch up the way you massage. If you usually start with the scalp or back, try starting with the feet or legs first. You can even have your clients lay on the sides to start instead of on their back.
- Try some new music. If you only have one set of songs or sounds that you are using, try getting new music that includes new songs, genres or artists.
