Questions to ask Potential Massage Schools

Once you have decided to go to massage school, you have to choose what school you want to attend.  There are many massage school options and you need to be sure that the school you choose is right for you.  Once you have found out which schools are close to you and will offer certification, you should call the school to take a tour.  On the tour be sure to check out the facility and make sure it is clean and neat.  You should also ask the school representative some questions.  Here are some questions that you should be asking:

·         Does the school offer education in specialty massage, broad massage training or both?

·         Does the school offer continuing education classes or seminars?

·         What classes I study while attending the school?

·         How long will it take to complete the program?

·         Do you offer evening or weekend classes?

·         Does the school have a good reputation in the industry?

·         Does the school have job placement assistance?

·         How does the massage school help to prepare you for state licensing certification exam?
