Make Your Own DIY Body Lotion

You may even have a favorite skin care product or specific skin cleansers that you swear by! The right lotion moisturizes your face and body while staying lightweight and comfortable.
However, keeping up with your regular skin care routine can be expensive and time-consuming. Stress from spending money and taking the time to treat yourself will even lead to more skin problems in the long run. Take the weight off your back (and your skin!) with our easy DIY body lotion recipe.
Homemade Moisturizing Lotion
Ingredients
2 TB almond oil
1/2 cup shea butter
Optional 5 drops rosemary essential oil
Optional 10 drops lavender essential oil
1. Melt shea butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
2. Add almond oil and turn off the stove.
3. Pour mixture into bowl and place in the freezer for about 15 minutes until cool and slightly solid.
4. Remove from the freezer and add in essential oils.
5. Whisk mixture for approximately one minute until soft and buttery.
6. Scoop mixture into a jar and apply to face and body. Store mixture at room temperature for future use.
