A career as a makeup artist or spa professional involves working closely with clients. This process is usually fun, features personal interaction and helps the client's inner beauty shine also. However, some clients will face dire situations. Stylists will often have to cover up problems like acne, scars and discoloration before creating an appealing look.
Clients want to look refreshed and young even when they have dark spots or bags under the eyes. Yellow toned concealer hides dark spots best and should be lighter than foundation. Gently apply concealer to problem areas. Go slow to see when the concealer is working and prevent unneeded layering. Never use concealer on eyelids or it will crease.

Many women have trouble covering acne and blemishes because they use concealer. These common skin problems are made more visible with concealer because it is lighter than normal foundation. Stylists will amaze clients by properly covering these marks. Stick foundations or other formulas with a little weight work best. They should be a similar shade as the skin and only applied to the blemish. Apply directly on the area and blend it. Follow up with a foundation. If the blemish is not severe, then it is possible to smooth foundation over the area individually to cover the mark. There does not have to be a special application for covering rashes or scars. Clients may be self conscious over these areas, but normal make up techniques usually work. Stylists can also buy specialty makeup that is designed to cover scars or rashes when regular processes do not work.

Makeup artists want to keep their handiwork intact to give client's the full benefit. Set any look to ensure it lasts longer with loose powder or a light facial spray. These makeup tips help stylists keep clients and make skincare easy.
