Every business and professional needs to market their services and massage therapists are no different. When it comes to promoting your massage services, connecting with your clients is key. This will ensure that your clients come back time after time and that your word-of-mouth marketing is thriving. How do you connect with clients, though? There are a few different ways to appeal to them.

Remember Their Name and Other Specifics


Clients like to feel like they’re important. When they book an appointment or walk through your door, you should remember their name. More than that, though, you should also know specifics about them. This will both boost your connection with your clients and help you to deliver better, more customized massage services. You should know if the client prefers deep tissue massage or a lighter touch; if they have any physical problems they’ve been dealing with; and what parts of their body they like the massage to focus on. You don’t have to memorize all of this information, but you should keep a reference sheet for each client that you can look at before the appointment to refresh your memory.

Give Them Perks for Being a Customer


Clients love getting something for free. Work out a deal with your clients that for every few visits, they get one on-the-house or at least for a discounted rate. Around the holidays, you can also send out mailings that introduce clients to services they haven’t tried before at reduced rates. 

Interact on Social Media


Today, people put their lives online. Keeping up with your clients on social media is a great way to stay in-the-loop about their life and health. Interacting online keeps you and your business at the forefront of their mind, too. Social media marketing is one of the most effective ways to connect with consumers.
