Becoming an esthetician can be a very exciting career. In order to become an esthetician, first you must graduate from esthetician school. One obstacle many potential esthetician school students face is paying tuition. Going to an esthetician school can be pricey and looking at tuition costs can be discouraging.
If you are considering going to an esthetician school, be aware that you do not have to pay your entire tuition up front. Most esthetician schools will work with prospective students to help them find a way to manage the tuition cost of attending the school. Since the schools want you to enroll they are willing to work with you. Some options to help pay tuition are payment plans, financial aid packages, scholarships, loans and grants. Some schools offer interest free payment plans so that students can pay off their tuition with payments as low as $100 a month. Many esthetician schools offer financial aid packages. Students who are able to prove financial hardship or inability to afford a payment plan are eligible for aid. Grants can be offered by a variety of organizations to help pay for esthetician school. The American Cosmetology Educaiton Grant is an example of this. Several organizations also offer scholarships to prospective esthetician school students to help pay for their tuition. Finally, loans are available to esthetician school students to help those who cannot pay tuition in full.
