Atmosphere – Another Element of a Great Massage
Posted on: March 21, 2012
Atmosphere is a crucial part of a successful massage. Being sure that you are able to create the right sounds and textures can significantly grow your business. People are coming to get a massage to relax. Sounds are an important part of a massage. Be sure to turn off your cell phone so the massage does not get interrupted. Some people like silence during their massage, while others like to hear gentle or serene sounds. Having a collection of different CD’s is a great way to meet the different needs of each client. Be sure to have sounds such as birds singing, streaming water and ocean waves. Also have CD’s of different genres and artist on hand to suit your clients’ needs. Another part of atmosphere is scents. You may want to have a few different and relaxing scents on hand, such as lavender, to help promote the calming nature of the massage.
